The total Lamy Tremblots holding is 0.90ha, of which 0.50 is in Haute Densité mode, of which some of the younger vines are included in this bottling, rather than in the HD version. Pale in colour with a definite green tint. A very nuanced nose, apples more forward than the floral aspects, excellent tension, some almond paste, once again very tightly wound and with great persistence. Drink from 2028-2034. Tasted Nov 2025.
From vines planted largely between 1970 and 1975, the 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Les Tremblots also incorporates fruit from Lamy’s young vines—between three and 12 years of age—from his high-density plantings at 20,000 vines per hectare. It offers aromas of white flowers, pear, orange oil and white peach. Medium-bodied and taut, it is charged with electric acidity and concludes with a searingly saline finish.
