Tasting Notes

The 2023 Santenay La Cassière has a well-defined, very pretty bouquet with quite minerally red berry fruit and a touch of violet in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with pure red cherry and wild strawberry notes. It's quite elegant in style with a harmonious finish. This has a little more composure than the Vieilles Vignes this year. It is recommended. (Drink between 2026-2035)

A bright mid ruby colour, with good energy to the cherry and red berry fruit. Juicy up front, adequate acidity, a little more depth of fruit while retaining William’s very refined style. Deliciously persistent. Drink from 2026-2030. Tasted Oct 2024.
