Pineapple and grapefruit on the nose – while partly shrouded by yeastiness and fermentative residues – anticipate the brightness and tang with which this wine buoyantly and invigoratingly hits the polished palate. Inner-mouth lily-of-the-valley perfume and a hint of black currant (not unusual for this site) add appeal en route to a vibrant, lusciously lingering, stone-lined finish. What a classic Prüm Kabinett! (Drink between 2019-2036)
Immaculate transparency here with bright Granny Smith apples, guava peel and citrus. Light-to medium-bodied, nice and lean with detailed and crunchy acidity. Filigree finish. Drink now.
