I have no problem with the heady ruby purple colour. There is a bundle of fruit on the nose, raspberry to the fore, a little strawberry beneath, everything you could want on the palate in a village Chambolle unless you want greater power. It is not necessary, as the fruit reverberates across the palate, refreshed by just the right acidity. Delicious! The blend contains a small amount of 1er Cru, Fuées and Baudes, fermented together. Drink from 2029-2035.
