Tasted as part of a vertical held at the chateau. A huge improvement over the 1994, the Guiraud 1995 has a lovely bouquet of orange peel, marmalade and quince that is well-defined and vigorous. The palate is well-balanced with a spicy, marmalade note on the entry. It is missing a little tension and there is just a touch of dryness creeping in on the Aszu-like, toffee-tinged finish. This might be just past its peak. Drink now-2015. Tasted April 2013.
