The 1995 is cut from the same mold as the 1996, except the 1995 possesses more accessible glycerin and fruit, as well as lower acidity. It offers a dense ruby/purple color, and an intense herb, pain grille, jammy blackberry and cassis-scented nose intertwined with wood-fire-like aromas. The wine is soft, round and medium to full-bodied, with a sexy combination of glycerin, fruit, sweet tannin, and heady alcohol.
