Proust said that this was not vinified by Bouchard. A ripe, spicy and intensely
menthol-suffused nose gives way to rich, mouth coating and opulently sappy flavors are shaped by notably firm tannins that
are robust and, somewhat unusually, actually rustic, all wrapped in a solidly lingering finish. This is quite good without
ascending to distinguished status. (89-92)/2021+
Good red-ruby. Aromas of black fruits, dark chocolate, licorice, menthol and minerals. Sweeter and more flavorful than the Beaux Monts on entry, with less of that wine's vegetal qualities, then cut off on the back by firm tannins. A bit tough but there's very good fruit here. Finishes with good high-toned complexity
