Rivesaltes, Domaine Sainte Lucie 1961

A golden peachy colour. Hints of hazel nut, sundried fruits and muscat on the nose. The palate is sweet and rich with a long sherry like finish. There is also a touch of salty tang in the background giving it a lovely freshness. For those that we born in 1961 this will give great pleasure and is to be savoured. For a 50 year old wine this certainly comes recommended by all of us here at Farr Vintners. Score: 16.5/20
