Tasting Notes

The 2009 ‘Craighall Vineyard’ Riesling reveals intense fresh lemon juice and lime peel aromas with peach blossom, fresh ginger and clover honey. Crisp and light bodied, this is a dry style with great concentration and a long finish with layers of citrus and mineral fruit. Approachable now for those that like that fruit forwardness, it will really shine from 2012 to 2018.

Fantastic fennel and lime curd flavour - really aristocratic Riesling, showing compelling maturity. There is a little oiliness on the palate, and plenty of gorgeous floral scent. Absolutely tremendous Riesling character, and very much in the classic Germanic mould. (RH)2013 - 2023
