Chablis Chapelots, Domaine François Raveneau 2010

A discreet touch of wood sets off elegant and well-layered aromas of iodine, white flower and green fruit. There is terrific detail and intensity to the mineral-driven, cool and admirably pure flavors that are an exercise in finesse and understatement. While this is clearly less powerful than the Montée de Tonnerre and not quite as complex, it is notably finer, particularly on the focused and salty finish.
