This is really quite elegant with its expressive yet cool nose of pear, green apple, Meyer lemon, white flower and plenty of yeast character. The sense of refinement continues onto the intense and attractively saline-inflected flavors that are supported by a firm but not aggressive mousse, all wrapped in a delicious and inviting finish as each sip invites the next. While this could be enjoyed now I would be inclined to allow it a few more years of cellar time first. Drink 2018+
A pale straw colour in the glass, the nose here exhibits fresh green apple and white pear, with biscuity hints showing after some time in the glass having spent 4 years on its lees before bottling. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp green and red apples leading the flavour profile. Delicate biscuit notes follow with a touch of peach and cream. The mousse is fine and persistent and lifts the finish on this refreshing and well balanced wine.
