Not surprisingly this hasn't changed greatly since my last review in January 2014 (see the database for that review) and my original tasting note remains apt. An adroit application of wood frames cool, pure and restrained dark berry fruit, truffle and spice aromas. There is good richness and volume to the intensely mineral-driven flavors that terminate in a beautifully complex, lengthy and impeccably well-balanced finish. This is very classy and should be excellent in due course. I should note that this is actually enjoyable now and while it is nowhere near its full maturity it is lovely thanks to the fine balance. Drink 2023+

**Note: Rousseau indicated that he used 25% new wood in 2011**

There is good richness and volume to the intensely mineral-driven flavors that terminate in a beautifully complex, lengthy and impeccably well-balanced finish. This is very classy and displays a similar hint of saline as does the Clos de la Roche. This also should be excellent in due course.
