Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois 2009 tasting in London. The Cissac 2009 has a ripe, lifted bouquet that develops some fine floral notes with time: black cherries, cassis and a little cedar, but all remaining tight. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins: fresh and vigorous with a pure, sappy finish of blueberry and cassis underpinned by a citric thread of acidity. Nice length and composure. Tasted September 2011.
