The 2014 Grand Village Blanc has a very fine bouquet: lime cordial, a touch of pineapple, all very well defined. The palate is well balanced with a twist of sour lemon on the entry, fresh and vibrant with superb salinity on the finish. This is the kind of white Bordeaux that revivified the senses and would be a perfect match with fruits de mer. It would be my pick over its red counterpart this year.
