Slightly hard to read on this occasion, with some reductive notes (which can be a good sign), the 2014 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Latour de France Occultum Lapidem has terrific purity and freshness in its black raspberry, blackberry, pepper and rock-laced bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, elegant and fresh, with impressive tension, focus and tannic grip through the finish, it looks to be another superb vintage of this cuvee.
