Tasting Notes

**Note: from several different lieux-dits, 30% of which is from Brélance with major contributions from Les Tremblots and Grands Champs**
Here the nose is both more elegant and more complex with a similar aromatic profile though there are a bit more white orchard fruit and floral elements discernible. There is good detail and a pretty touch of minerality that comes through on the solidly well-concentrated flavors that culminate in a lovely finish of fine depth and length. This is a lovely Puligny villages and worth considering.

The 2014 Puligny Montrachet Village Cru offers lilting dewy green apple and wet limestone aromas on the nose, underneath subtle scents of orange blossom lending more complexity as it opens in the glass. The palate is crisp and fresh with a twist of bitter lemon on the entry. This is well balanced with good weight, plenty of energy on the tip of the tongue with a pleasant saline finish. It does not quite possess the drive of the premier crus, although there is a pleasant spicy note that pops up on the aftertaste. Tasted December 2016. Drink Date 2017 - 2025
