The 2009 Cabernet Franc saw 24 months in 225-liter French oak barrels (45% new). It has a lifted bouquet of dark berries, bay leaf, black tea and cassis that is well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe, creme de cassis and blueberry fruit. The varietal character does not express itself fully towards the generous finish, although I appreciate its supple texture in the mouth. Drink now-2017. Drink Date 2012 - 2017
