Outstanding
A deft application of wood sets off classic Meursault aromas of hazelnut, white peach, pear and acacia blossom hints. There is both better energy and more volume to the round and solidly well-concentrated flavors that possess a lush mid-palate yet the underlying acidity causes the persistent finish to tighten up considerably. Lovely stuff that will also need to develop more depth yet the supporting material is so good that my range again offers the benefit of the doubt. Drink: 2021+
A little more introvert than some of his simpler wines. Sleek and chiselled and not nearly ready. All tightly packed up in the background for the future. 2018 - 2028
