Tasting Notes

Moderately light ruby red color in the glass. A pheromonic nose offering a deep well of fresh cherry, strawberry, and raspberry fruits along with exotic spices including mulling spice. A wine of ethereal refinement, with searching and perfumes flavors of red cherry and berry, spice, tobacco and bacon fat. Very silky mouthfeel with a buried but supportive structure and a refreshing finish that drives another sip. Only Pinot Noir could offer a wine of such delicacy and sensuality while knocking your socks off with flavor. This is a wine to share with your partner for it could easily lead to romance. 11.3% alcohol.

11.3% alcohol. This is really delicate with a slightly weedy, herbal edge (but a very attractive one) to leafy cherry and berry fruits on the nose. It’s quite autumnal. The palate is very fresh and supple with fine spiciness and some dried herbs, as well as elegant, supple cherry fruit. There’s even a hint of sweet vanilla in the background, and a twist of aniseed. This is a very elegant, delicate yet full flavoured Pinot.

Jamie Goode, Wineanorak.com, December 2017

A light delicate wine, this features earthy mint, clove and cinnamon stick aromas and flavors within a focused, elegant package of expansive berry and citrus fruit. The acidity is persistent and refreshing, allowing for aspects of brine and flint to shine wildly through.
