The white-golden colored 2006 Ambonnay Pinot Noir Grand Cru Brut Empreinte de Terroir offers a matured, vinous, beautifully clear and mineral Pinot bouquet with cherry, cold stones and brioche aromas. Pure, fresh and complex on the palate, this is a dense and vinous, very salty and remarkably finessed Pinot Noir that assembles the fruits from six different lieux-dits. The average age of the selected vines is 42 years. The 2006 fermented in small oak vats and was bottled in early May 2007. No malolactic fermentation. Total production: 2,200 bottles.
