Tasting Notes

Buddleia and lily perfume, cassis and white peach headily entice the nose – then billow across a subtly creamy palate, set-off by a stony undertone. While the sweetness here is rather obvious, it doesn’t interfere with – and perhaps even enhances – the ripeness of fruit flavors in a luscious, refreshingly-sustained finish. 2017 - 2032

The 2015 Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling Spätlese is clear, fresh and coolish, almost reductive on the very precise nose. This is a mouth-filling Spätlese that is round and generous on the palate, with a lush fruit texture and piquant acidity. It has a creamier texture and fine, well-integrated acidity that lacks a certain sharpness in the finish though. This is a pretty, powerful and complex Spätlese with grip and tension as well. 2020 - 2030

Cask sample. Very sculpted and precise on the nose. Some tart pear-juice quality – very fruity – and still unformed. Lots of great raw ingredients. 2019 – 2032
