So many flowers here, including honeysuckle, daffodils, almonds and cherry blossom. The palate has a really expansive, fleshy feel for this variety, without the addition of oak, but the acidity is still forthright and still right on point. Drink now.
Bright lemon in colour with a mineral lemon and lime fruit note that jumps from the glass on the nose. There is a hint of floral heather too. The palate follows with crisp and zesty citrus fruits on show, bolstered by heather honey and peach, and cut by zippy acidity. There is a saline edge that drives the palate to the finish, adding depth and savoury complexity. Ready to drink now, this will drink well over the next 3-4 years when its citrus drive can be most appreciated.
