Castiglione Falletto. Tasted blind. Mid ruby. Savoury, minerally and balsamic and completely closed on the fruit. Very slow to open up on the palate, too. Long perfumed finish and fine, chewy tannins. Lots of promise here. Drink between 2024-2038
Walnuts, berries, tar and hints of smoke on the nose. It’s full-bodied with chewy tannins and a dusty finish. Chewy at the end. Drink after 2023.
