Tasting Notes

The 2016 Barbaresco is a gorgeous wine from Guido Rivella. Medium in body and super-finessed, the 2016 is all class. Spice, crushed flowers and sweet black cherry all run through this super-expressive, mid-weight Barbaresco. Sleek and racy, with tons of immediacy, the straight Barbaresco is a terrific introduction to Guido Rivella's Barbarescos. The 2016 has a weightless, translucent quality that I find incredibly appealing.
