This is more open today than the Field of Fire, and there is more to it on the nose, which is clean and intense, with a Coche-like struck match reduction. This character follows into what is a very powerful, lime-driven fruit intensity in the mouth. This is taut, focussed and edgy, with a Puligny-like "nervosité". Long, precise and impeccably clean, this will age well.
