Tasting Notes

This super-racy, extremely vibrant dry muscat is a revelation for the underrated grape variety. More floral than grapey with very fine, chalky minerality running through the tightly wound, medium body. The finish is as refreshing as a mountain stream! From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com, June 2021

90% Muscat d'Alsace, 10% Muscat Ottonel. Indice 1. The colour is a bright, pale straw with a floral, youthful nose of grape juice, iris and heather. The palate is bright, with tangy acidity offering real zip against the more floral, sweeter tones of fruit. This is dry, but rich, with a textural savour that makes it lip smacking and moreish. Ready now, it will offer real pleasure over the next 5+ years.
