An overtly floral-suffused nose features primarily various white-fleshed fruit aromas, and in particular spiced pear. There is both good richness and verve to the delicious and attractively textured medium weight flavors that display good focus on the clean, refreshingly dry and solidly complex finish. This is a quality villages.
The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet (Maison Louis Jadot) bursts with aromas of buttery orchard fruit, green apples, citrus oil and vanilla pod. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and succulent, with an open-knit, charming and gently oak-inflected personality.
