An elegant, pure and ripe nose that resembles that of the Fremiers in that it is cool and restrained while featuring complex red berry and black cherry fruit, chalk and stone notes that complement perfectly the intensely mineral suffused big-bodied and powerful flavors that are tautly muscled, balanced, mouth coating and impressively long. While this is no better than the Epenots qualitatively, the personality is completely different. A choice but note that at present, this is the more austere of the two.
