From three plots in the lower part, an early ripening spot so this is the second wine to be picked, after Clos St Denis. Soft and rounded with a good weight of fruit behind, the oak is in balance. Good length too. Benoît says he has never had a bad Combottes from any producer. Ripe cherries here.
