A subtle application of wood sets off notably ripe plum, dark cherry, spice and humus scents. There is fine richness and volume to the concentrated medium weight flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the finish that is very Nuits St. Georges but not really austere or rustic. Note that moderate patience will be required. 2022+
