The 2020 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Murgers mingles aromas of cherries, plums and cassis with notions of creamy new oak and berry preserve. Medium to full-bodied, rich and ripe, it's fleshy, layered and broad-shouldered, framed by firm tannins, concluding with a heady finish.
Concentrated intense purple. Just a tiny touch more in bouquet, loganberry to mulberry, dense dark red and black fruit. Good acidity. Anonymous at the moment but may enlarge its dimensions after racking – or it may never embrace the 15% alcohol.
