Vibrant fresh purple, with lots of energy on the nose. Very intense fruit from the start of the palate, dark raspberry, some ripe cherry following behind, sweetly balanced finish, on the fruit not the structure.
Less open than the Feusselottes. Peppery scent like stone dust, overlaying seemingly effortless concentration. Unexpectedly juicy on the palate, the tannins are so fine and precise. Ripe but elegant. Refined and long. I hesitated on the score but I think this is going to get even better.
