Tasting Notes

Tasted blind. Very dark with narrow rim. Really fragrant but subtle, fresh aroma of black fruit with a light leafy as well as riper damson note. Juicy, fresh, refined tannins. Elegant and harmonious with lots of freshness and length. Drink: 2029-2043

Fresh blackberries, blackcurrants, graphite, chocolate and spearmint on the nose. Medium to full body, with sleek and well-integrated tannins. Fruity and approachable for the appellation, with a cool, minty finish. Second wine of Calon Segur. Better after 2024.
