This is also exuberantly spicy with its even more floral-suffused nose of cool, pure and restrained Granny Smith apples, citrus confit and anise scents. There is both outstanding volume and power to the solidly concentrated larger-scaled flavors that exude an abundance of the hallmark minerality on the dry, crystalline and beautifully persistent finale. This fine effort will need to develop more depth with time in bottle.
