This wine was sourced from the young head-pruned vines trained on posts in the Achleiten vineyard. Medium green-yellow. The nose is still a bit shy, but reveals attractive yellow apple and hints of mango and banana. Quite concentrated and silky in the mouth. A vibrant acid structure and pronounced mineral character showcase this wine's complexity, framing its very persistent flavors of crushed green peppercorn, celery and nearly salty minerals. Drink 2010 to 2022.
