The Sadie Family 2024 Swartland Die Distriksreeks 'T Voetpad is a profoundly characterful old-vine field blend of Chenin Blanc, Semillon Blanc, Semillon Gris and Palomino that delivers savory depth, hay-like nuance and remarkable persistence. Despite its white-wine framing, the wine carries the extract and structural presence of a red wine, finishing long and textural. Planted in 1887 on the Piketberg mountains and still farmed as a true co-planted vineyard, this 1.4-hectare site remains one of the oldest producing vineyards in the Swartland.
