Pale green-yellow. Somewhat subdued nose opens with air to reveal fragrant ripe peach, yellow currant and lime blossom honey, with a hint of minerals reminiscent of fresh rain on slate slowly emerging. The slow unfolding of this outstanding riesling continues in the mouth, where flavors of fresh peach, dried apricot and lichee are laced with lime blossom and abundant minerality. An exquisite acid spine gives razor-sharp definition to this extraordinary wine. The finish is extremely long and complex and already displays an uncanny refreshing quality. Drink 2013 to 2023+.
