Complex, deep yet youthful pinot with masses of spicy blackberry, black raspberry and ume plum flavours which soak into the palate. There is considerable tannic architecture here while remaining polished, building in weight and perfume towards the long, impressive finish. This has layers and layers of interest, tasting much younger than its age suggests. Serious and powerful pinot noir which will reward further time in the cellar. Drink 2025–2037
