Morey Saint Denis Monts Luisants Rouge, Maxime Cheurlin-Noellat 2021

Tasting Notes

The 2021 Morey Saint-Denis Mont Luisants 1er Cru has quite a fragrant bouquet, rather pure and focused with perfumed black cherry and violet scents. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannins, fine definition, cohesive with a plush and fairly complex finish. This is a great success for Maxime Chuerlin. (Drink between 2024-2036)

Greater depth of purple and the nose is certainly fine, plump fruit with energy and no sacrifice of precision. Vibrant raspberry with a ripe citrus note as well, good clean tannins and a fresh finish, very lightly peppery. Drink from 2026-2032.
