Medium green-yellow. Ripe apple, lemon verbena and a touch of blossom honey on the nose. A sweet core of apple and citrus fruit is wrapped in tobacco, minerals and lemony herbs. Orange-flavored acidity is seamlessly integrated and gives this wine outstanding finesse. The last grapes for this dry auslese-style wine were harvested on November 5. Finishes with great length and complexity and holds out the potential for extended bottle aging. Drink 2011 to 2023.
