Tasting Notes

Spice, flowers, and pepper notes define the 2021 Côte Rôtie Brune Et Blonde De Guigal, and it's medium-bodied, soft, and supple on the palate. Based on 96% Syrah and 4% Viognier and brought up in 50% new French oak for 36 months, this beautiful, balanced effort will drink nicely for a decade. Drink 2025-2035.

This is refined, textural and chiseled. It has notes of sweet berries, charred bark, sandalwood and chocolate. It's medium- to full-bodied with finely grained tannins. Velvety texture, with a layered and bright core of red berries at the center. It's all in balance with a refined character. Controlled power and a precise finish. Drink or hold.
