Tasted ex-château and single blind in Southwold. I never warmed to this bottle of Les Tourelles. It just comes across as rather overdone on the nose: macerated cherries and dates. The palate is sweet and "clingy". There is patently good substance here but it seems over-egged on the finish. It needs more control. Tasted January 2012.
