(50% vendange entier; 40% new oak): Bright medium red. Red cherry, redcurrant and musky underbrush accented by pepper and spices on the nose; riper than the Chambolle villages. Softer and creamier in the mouth too, conveying a restrained sweetness to the flavors of red cherry, berries, licorice and spices. Finishes firmly tannic and persistent.
