A much spicier though less earthy nose features notes of red currant, cherry and a whiff of herbal tea. The racy, intense and nicely detailed middleweight flavors flash a lovely texture before concluding in a youthfully austere finale that could use slightly better depth. Given the apparent aging curve, more complexity should certainly develop if allowed a few years of cellaring. (Drink starting 2029)
