Pale yellow-green. The nose makes an exotic impression with aromas of mandarin orange and orange zest, ripe peach, dark wet slate and cardamom. This full-bodied beauty is quite concentrated and powerful but an exquisite spine of racy acidity gives it superb balance, even elegance. Intense flavors of dark smoky minerals and lemon-laced apricot persist impressively on the long, opulent finish. Offers superb aging potential. Drink 2012 to 2023+.
