Tasting Notes

A tiny production cuvée that comes mostly from the Maison Blanche lieu-dit, the 2024 Hermitage La Chapelle Blanc is another vivid, focused, bright white from this estate. It has a Burgundy-like reduction in its clean white peach and stone fruits as well as spice, honeyed flowers, and salty minerality. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has remarkable purity and precision, integrated acidity, beautiful overall balance, and outstanding length. It needs 2-3 years and should drink nicely through 2034. Drink 2028-2034.
