Chambolle Musigny, Domaine Dujac 2023

The airy essence of both red and dark currant is nuanced by plenty of floral, especially violet and rose petal, hints along with an anise wisp. The denser and altogether serious medium weight flavors aren't especially elegant though they do exhibit solid power on the robust finish that is supported by bright acidity. This is also very good for its level though not exactly in the iconic image of Chambolle. (Drink starting 2031)
