The light rust and amber color is enticing. Aromas of dried rose petals, cinnamon and nutmeg. Hints of dried meat, smoke and sage. Full body and compact, creamy texture. So fine and delicious. Great, subtle and complex flavors. More like a lightly aged, premier cru Volnay, but with the magic of Champagne. Drink now.
Pale salmon in colour with a lively mousse. Bright wild straberries, toasted pastries and fresh bread on the nose here. The palate is juicy, fleshy with red fruits and ripe, waxy citrus. The mousse is generous and creamy, giving a generosity and soft edge despite the fresh acidity coursing through the palate. The autolytic character builds through to the finish, leaving a complex, savoury undertone to the bright fruit at the core.
