Sourced from five vineyards, predominantly the Bridge Pa Triangle, the 2023 Bullnose is a very gently handled Syrah, as if taking its cue from Pinot Noir. It's delicate with a lovely bit of flesh on the mid-palate, making for a welcoming beginning. The 2023 is produced mainly from free-run juice after 30 days of maceration. It is fragrant, led by black cherry, plum and raspberry fruit, while French oak adds an attractive layer of spice. Drink: 2025-2035
Combining impressive fruit purity with savoury nuances, the wine shows dark cherry, raspberry, violet, cinnamon, white pepper, and toasted nut characters on the nose. The palate offers excellent weight and silky flow, together with plush texture and fine, grainy tannins, making it sturdy and refined at the same time. Sensually seductive and alluring with a prolonged, captivating finish. At its best: 2027 to 2043
