The vines could qualify for the Haute Densité tag, being planted at 20,000 to the hectare in 2014 – which is too recent for Olivier to use the ‘HD’ designation. It is a great wine though, albeit just one barrel instead of five! Pale lemon and lime, rather fine with a floral touch and a suggestion of salinity as well. This is stunning on the palate, with a crisp finesse that really impresses. Perfectly balanced throughout, lively, not too chiselled. Amazing given the youth of the vines! Drink from 2026-2034.
